The brief was to create a sub brand of my chosen Warner
Brothers franchise that fully embraces the franchise. Taking inspiration from
the famous Mad Max franchise, Cult Of V8 Rallycross Championship was born.
Focusing on the universe’s villain Immortan Joe and his cult followers, the
series races across the worlds harshest deserts with ruthless racing in the
pursuit of winning, much like his character. The brand combines the rough and
rebellious nature of the Mad Max brand with the modern style of design
currently found in motorsports, creating a harmonious bond between both styles.
Advertising Campaign
CULT PREACHERS CAMPAIGNThese cult preachers will pop up in the worlds major cities with these signs spouting what most people would consider to be rediculous beleifs such as “water is an addiction”. This will attact attention as it is shared on social media with people wondering what this sudden cult is. There will also be a pop up “church of V8” where people will be led in by preacher to “join the cult” where they will instead be played a promotional video of the sport.
